Aidan Loving His Legos!

He did it! He put together over 1,200 pieces to make Bag End and the Pirates of Umbar ship!  He even let me and mom help some.  I was really surprised when Aidan came to me and asked to have his picture taken.

Aidan's 10!

I can't believe our little, now very big, Aidan is in the double digits.10 years goes by way too fast to even begin to think about all the amazing things Aidan has done and been through.

That first year on his monitor. Him rolling around on our floor before he could walk. Eating pizza on his first birthday. I miss all the baby kisses and tickle fights, but love sitting down with Aidan and putting together 756 pieces of Legos LOTR Pirate Ship Ambush.

Bedtime

8 turns into 8:30 pm.  Hey, The Goldbergs was kind of funny and Seery watched it with me.  8:30 turned into 9 after piggy back rides upstairs and brushing teeth.  Finally they are all in bed.  And more importantly they are staying in bed.  Liam won't go to bed without Ryan which is equally cute and annoying.  Ashlynne has to have two songs and a story and her sippy cup of water.  Although Seery gets in bed she is always the last one to fall asleep.  I'll go to close her door and she'll yell at me that she's awake.  Aidan, although he's 9, still likes me to read to him and turn out the lights for him.  Luckily, we're reading The Hobbit so it's more enjoyable than Goodnight Moon every night.

Blueberry Pancakes

Liam has been begging for blueberry pancakes for awhile now.  Needless to say he's very excited.

Ryan Mason's birthday!

Elise was induced July 15th at 39 weeks and 1 day.  We called at six am and were told to be in at 7:20 am at St. Marks. Luckily, we would be one of the first inductions. This time around Elise could have clear liquids prior to delivery which the nurses said they had pushed for. Thabk you nurses! It made her much more comfortable, or as comfortable as you can be when you're about to push out a ten pounder. It also made me a lot less self conscious about drinking all the hospital's free Coke.

July 14th

One of Elise's friends, Angela, came to visit. Her son and Liam are best buds. It was a great last day of pregnancy!

39 Weeks

This was Sunday July 14th. 39 weeks. Totally hot with one day left to go!

July 15th.

It's time.

35 Weeks!

33 weeks.

30 Weeks!

We've got a giant on our hands.  I'm thinking NFL or NBA definitely.  Elise went in for her 30 week appointment and our big boy is measuring 4 weeks ahead.  Her doctor, who we love, had her do an ultrasound to double check everything.

It turns out baby boy is measuring in at an easy 4.5 pounds. He's on track to be a 10 pounder.  We'll have to see what he ends up as, but he's healthy and mom is still looking good too.

29 Weeks!

Everything is going good.  Baby boy is measuring huge. 

Changes...

He's becoming a little man.

He's measuring a few weeks ahead so we're having a giant.

27 Weeks

27 weeks and two days.  89 days to go. Baby's doing good and moves a lot.  I think he moves a lot more than the others did which is reassuring.

Mom is also doing better after being admitted to the hospital for a kidney infection and kidney stones.  Elise described it as way more painful than labor.  I felt totally helpless and was very thankful for the makers of morphine.

Slowly Getting There

He's moving around a lot. It's always relaxing and fun to watch the belly for movements.

Elise said Liam and Ashlynne like to yell names at her belly to see what the little man likes. Liam likes Riley.  Elise seems to like Declan (don't know if that's how it's spelled).  I still like Anfernee Dewitt Kipp.

19 weeks.

I always feel like we're missing a kid, but that should be fixed in July.  We went to Red Robin to celebrate it being a boy.

It's a boy!

The kids think he's cute, except for his boy parts and his skeleton face.  We had a good feeling it'd be a he.

So the boys will all be five years a part and so will the girls.

Go me on bringing on the boy chromosome!

February 18th. 18 Weeks and looking good.

Foxy Lady

I haven't heard Foxy Lady by Hendrix in forever but it played on the radio this morning on the way to work.

I almost turned around to go home and get back in bed with my foxy lady.

Then I realized we have four little monkeys so that would be very short lived.

Ah, the joys of being a parent. Craving that morning cuddle, but ain't going to happen. Always uninvited guests showing up.

Names

Liam likes Riley for a boy.  Although he also wants to name it after his girlfriend in his preschool class. Now, that's love.

Mom likes Declan for a boy although I'm not sure if that is how you spell it. 

I still like the sound of Anfernee Dewitt.

I can't really begin to imagine names until we know the sex.  February 25th. Can't wait!

Telling Everyone!

We had told the kids a couple weeks ago at Texas Roadhouse by giving Ashlynne a Big Sister shirt.  We pretty much still had to spell it out for them though.  Seery was basically shrieking after Elise spelled it out.  Lucky that place is rowdy.

We skyped with Grandma and Grandpa two days ago and it was fun to see their expressions.  No hiding their surprise when video chatting! 

Luckily,  all the cousins were having a sleepover at the Geislers so we all got to Skype too.

Oh, and the pregnant misses has red hair now too!  Love it!
